Zach’s work currently explores manufactured systems and their effect on behavior, experience and communication. This often involves manipulating the framework of social networks, codification methods, or semiotics in order to depict the idea at hand. Through this manipulation, he’s able to extract characteristics to either compound or negate the viewer’s expectations and guide their experience outside the baseline of interpretation.

As I prepare to head back to England, I circled back for an update on Katie, one of my favorite young photographers. Since I last caught up with her in March – she’s been interviewed and featured on Stocktricks.ru and Lookatthis.co.za, her work has appeared in Lookbook for Georgia Xanthe Dorey and The Bleed, Zeum, Seven Shades of Black and Tarte magazines and was a part of the ’THE FEW AND FAR BETWEEN’ group exhibition at the Rag Factory, London. stupid : leah moyer 21, dancer usa
Stupid is the collaboration of dancer Leah Moyer and choreographer Erica Michelle Sobol.
Leah is a creator in the true sense of the word: a dancer, teacher, choreographer, make-up artist, and lover of all things movement. Leahs love for both dance and the stage was evident at a young age when she was awarded the classic role of Clara in Ballet Arizonas Nutcracker, followed by a similar role in the touring cast of Radio City Music Halls Christmas Spectacular. Leah received her early training, on scholarship, from the Arizona Ballet School, the prestigious Rock School of Ballet in Philadelphia, and holds a black belt in martial arts.
As for choreographer Erica Michelle Sobol, 28 and despite a late start— she took her first beginner dance class at 19 and her first ballet class at 21—she has proven that with passion and a desire to grow and learn, you can take a dream and turn it into reality.
